Absolutely awful , handle and lid knob get VERY hot! Why would you want a pan where you have to use an oven glove to use it ? Beggars belief that this is chef recommended! First time used I was making a white sauce , the melting butter discoloured the pan as I was stirring ( on a low heat ). Do not buy

This little pan is useful for so many things. Heats up quickly due to the copper base. Feels solid and exudes quality. Metal knob on lid can heat up but not a problem once aware. Considering getting more pans in this range.

Nice pans but they do not wash well with spotting on the inside of the pans which is rather annoying. Only been handwashed as they are recommended no dishwashing.

Not easy to find a 14cm (small) pan that serves mutiple purposes beyond the usual intended purpose of heating milk. Love the inclusion of a weighty lid. This is perfect for making sauces, heating single servings of soup, boiling a modest serving of a veg – ideal for the 1-2 person household. The copper ringed bottom allows for good heat distribution, and with gentle heating there is no sticking – thus easy to wash clean. Lid knob does require protection if simmering for any time. It has great style quality and offers good value for money. Highly recommended! Well done M&S and Tom Kerridge. I’d welcome an even smaller one for melting butter, chocolate etc.
